All ads are required to have the following information: Price (even for trades), brand, model, and location (City and State, for instruments, not accessories). It is acceptable to link to an external ad if you are promoting a sale of your personal equipment. No Ebay auctions, but "Buy It Now" listings are fine. Photos are HIGHLY suggested as well, and may be hosted on Google Drive, or elsewhere. If you see an ad that does not meet these criteria, please report it.

I’ve never seen a Bayamo in that style. Almost looks like a Roland Szentpali or Talladega.
That's the original Giddings and Webster style. I remember I had a Diablo and a Taku from the late 2000s in that heavy shell style. Not sure when they switched over. Nigh-on indestructible so I'm sure Rob's example here is great.

Ivan switched over because a) he didn't feel the heavy shell was doing anything for this piece, and b) I think he can use a smaller blank. This shell makes it a certifiable weapon in the right hands.
It's a tiny bit out of round on the shank. I'm fussy and I don't seem to notice anything when I play it. I'm just not using it and have too many Amazon boxes sitting around in need of new homes
