Hi everyone! I am listing my silver B&S MRP-F tuba for sale. I’ve had this tuba for 3 years and it has served me very well throughout my undergrad. This tuba is really special since it sounds and plays like a rotor F. This horn very resonant and projects REALLY well. This tuba plays in tune with minor adjustments needed on the 1st and 4th slide. There are some minor dents on the bell and bottom bow, and some light scratch marks on various parts of the horn.
Some work that has been done while I’ve had it:
* 1st and 4th valve slides vented
* lead pipe removed, reseated, and resoldered by Martin Wilk
* MAW titanium valve stems
I’m asking $8650 for this tuba. The horn comes with a factory Götz Supersac gig bag. I am not open to trades. I also will not ship, but am willing to drive a reasonable distance to meet a serious buyer. I am located in the Pittsburgh area, but will be in Boston for winter break (until Jan 12), and will also be floating around the NYC metro area. This is a great instrument and is perfect for anyone looking for a versatile F tuba.

Thanks for looking.
