Tuba and Parkinson’s

How has the onset of Parkinson’s Disease affected your (or someone else’s) relationship with the tuba?

I know of one prominent player who has been dealing with Parkinson’s disease and they’ve been taking a cocktail of natural things they claim that has kept the symptoms from persisting for over 10 years. Might be useful to do some research over it. There is hope and from my understanding the sooner it’s detected the better. If someone has it I think it’s more about controlling and protecting the body. If you don’t have it I think the focus should be prevention. Good luck.
