Eastman 832-Silver-$7500-Sold

Post by Sasha Johnson »

For sale is my Eastman 832 4/4 CC in silver finish. I am the second owner of this horn, having purchased it from Scott Mendoker in 2023.

This is an incredible all around tuba. Big and responsive enough for just about any orchestral context, and small and nimble enough for quintet or solo playing. Horn is in great shape-just a couple very small pit dents.

The only significant work I’ve had done was converting the 5th valve trigger to the more modern ergonomic shape, using the original Eastman parts.

Price is $7500 USD, which will Include a like-new Cronkite gig bag and the original Eastman hard case.

Horn is currently located in Toronto so can be tried out there, or in Western Massachusetts or Montreal. Prefer not to ship.
