FS: Mirafone/Miraphone 186-4U CC tuba (North Carolina)

I purchased this horn last year from the original owner. There are a few dings, but considering it is 50+ years old its still in great condition. The only possible major issue is some red rot that, from what I can tell, is isolated to the lead pipe. I had it professionally cleaned and serviced at Charlotte Band Instrument Service, and since then it probably has less than 20 hours of play time. I purchased it thinking I could easily retrain myself to play C, but alas my limited time and 23 years' worth of muscle memory made that tougher than I'd like.

Includes original hard shell case and BBb conversion slide (though I didn't much care for it -- it made the horn stuffy and of course the intonation was off).

Serial number in the 9500 range: this horn was made in 1975.
