For sale: PT-20P CC tuba. This is a 4/4 four piston, one rotor tuba, 19” bell. One owner. Bought new in 2005 from Custom music. No major dents or bell damage. Only minor dings and wear from 20 years of playing. This is a near perfect example of this model horn. Fat low end and spot on intonation. I only have to move the first valve slide a small amount on F, Bb, and high D, the rest stay set. This is an excellent all-around horn. Has seen use in large and small groups. The only reason for selling is financial reasons, I need the cash. Comes with gig bag. $8000. Located in Jackson, Mississippi. Horn will be cleaned and polished upon sale. Would prefer not to ship, can meet buyer at a half-way point. These list new for about $12,000 so this is a good deal.

I have played this tuba several times and it plays very well. I have sat with its bell next to my ear for years and the sound is consistently great.
It is in excellent physical and mechanical condition.
This B&S model has a bell taper and flare modeled on the old, beloved York Eb Monsters, and it is a little like a CB-50, but bigger.
This is a highly recommended tuba for anyone looking for a truly professional level CC tuba with the size of a 188 but with an American sound.
And the seller is a stand-up guy, too!
