This is an exceptional 5/4 CC tuba - one of the most sought after models. The valves are vented - just received a sonic bath - slides / valves lightly buffed. I am a professional musician who played in NJ - NY - PA / retired 30 yr educator / and working repair tech. It has become a bit to heavy for me in retirement and I have 2 smaller horns. I would love to find a beautiful home for this horn that I used in symphonic and & quintet gigs. Pitch is right on, big tone, open, flexible, with some minor dents. I bought this tuba used. I will throw in a Dillon G3 or a Giddings Bayamo (haven't made up my mind yet) mouthpiece and it comes with a soft case.

The B&S is in great condition. I am a repair tech for more that 40 yrs and maintain my horns as well as working for several music companies. I am a 30yr retired educator and performing musician - Broadway to having played with Howard Johnson's Gravity to childrens albums to recording with Henry Threadgill to Beatlemania reunions to playing tuba / bari-sax / trombone with Glen Burtnick from STYX. I am serious about the playability of my horns.
I am asking around $7,500 to $8,000. Will drive between NC and NJ. Will have another repair store look it over and give it an okay letter. The horn is for purchase on the spot and not trade. I have plenty of other horns. It is a beauty - i just have a bad back and like 4/4 & 3/4 horns better for pit work and recording.
