FS: Eastman EBF864 F Tuba

Post by TubaNerd88 »

Up for sale is my Eastman EBF864 F tuba in yellow brass. I am the only owner of this horn, and it was purchased from Buddy Roger’s Music in Cincinnati on April 2025. It was used as a demo horn in exhibits, but as you can tell from the pictures in the link, there is not a single scratch, dent, ding, or any kind of lacquer wear on the horn. It is, for all intents and purposes, a brand new horn.

I’ve played on a few of these in years past, and this particular horn is a great example. Response is even from top to bottom, intonation is wonderful, and it has a wonderful lively color that is easily usable in chamber groups, solo settings, and orchestras. All valves and slides move quietly and effortlessly.

The horn comes with a Laskey 28K mouthpiece, all included accessories when you buy this horn brand new, and an Eastman MTS-style hard case. Note: It does not come with any sort of gig bag.

I’m asking $6,000 USD for everything mentioned: Horn, hard case, mouthpiece, and accessories. I’m needing to move this horn quite quickly as I’ve unfortunately come under some financial hardship and need to sell this out of necessity. I would love to keep this horn as it’s truly a great example, but I cannot keep it at this time. The horn is located in Cincinnati, Ohio.

Pictures are available for viewing at the following link: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/ ... drive_link

A note of importance: I will not ship this horn. I am however willing to drive up to 300 miles to meet a serious buyer halfway. Only hard cash or a cashier’s check will be accepted. No forms of card or digital payments (Venmo, PayPal, Cashapp, etc.) will be accepted.

Please message me if you are seriously interested either on Facebook Messenger or via email: mattgraytuba AT gmail DOT com

Thank you for your time!
