JZ serial number

Hello All,

I have a JZ BBb tuba that I loan out to students. I cannot find a serial number anywhere on this thing. Does anyone know where it should be?

I'm normally quite good at finding such things but this one has me stumped!

spots to check are around the valve block (often stamped on the casing or just below it)

On the back of the instrument near the bottom bow

Near the leadpipe receiver or mouthpiece area

Occasionally on the bell near the base/flare

Nope, there is no serial number. I'm going to scribe one onto the tuba myself.
