Courtois Euphonium

Post by ThomasP »

Can any euphonium player that's played on a new Courtois euphonium comment on it please. I'm not a euphonium player, but I saw this horn on Dillon's website and I becamse curious. It's not one of the big 3 euphonium brands, but I believe Courtois to be a reputable company.

Any info. would be nice.

This may be of help:

There is a current thread about Courtois on the current TubaEuph site. http://forum.alex281.com

There was another discussion about Courtois on TubaEuph a few months back but these posts were lost when the site was hacked a few weeks ago. As I recall, the comments were generally favorable. One poster claimed that the Courtois was the same horn as the MW551 but the only proof of this he offered was that Courtois is one of the JA Musk companies (as are MW, VMI, and B&S).
