I went on an Alaskan cruise a year ago and it was great.

From all I've heard (and not from ticket seller types), if you have any interest in going, sooner is better than later, as the receding glaciers will make the views (marginally) less spectacular with each passing year.

Just what I've heard and read. Feel free to correct.

Thanks for the blast from the past!! I spent 5 years early on in AK, hardly remember much now, so thanks a ton for a little refresher. I haven't been back in twenty years, and that just makes me itch a little more to go. Thank you, hope to see you in Odessa this Christmas!!!

Wayne,

Since you were probably behind the camera, I just assumed that he was one of those cardboard cutout-things you can rent to make your party look bigger! ( ... as in "we got there so late, it was either that one, or a lousy looking one of Osama... ")
