Quite disturbing.

Who knows if the narration is true or not...

But, if it is... Though this attack is not her fault (the victim), she really could've avoided the matter entirely. From the narration, I gathered that she "ratted out" some members of a local gang. They werent clear on what that meant--ratted out to who? The police??

Anyway, I would imagine that she had some dealings with this, and maybe other gangs in the past. She was obviously close to them in order to "rat them out."

Why would anyone allow themselves to become close to dangerous organizations like this? EVER??? Just stay away, and you wont have to worry about this happenning. I know, sometimes it comes right to your doorstep without provacation.. But, I am suspecting that isnt the case here.

Again, alot of speculation here... still an awful thing... but, maybe avoidable??

I wanted to find a link to a newspaper story about this thing, so I thought the comments section would be a place to find one.

Didn't find a link, but what I read certainly did give me a sinking feeling about the general level of intelligence in the population at large.
