another serial number question

Where is the serial number on my MW 182? I can't find one anywhere. Either I'm blind, or it was removed along with the harness rings.

Thanks, Klaus, I will look there tonight. Although I swear I have looked at every spot of bare metal on the thing. The strap between the paddles.
There is a hand-engraved something-or-other on one of the valves, but it doesn't look like a serial number to me. Too large, too hand-done, too funny looking. I'm just going to have to get a digital camara, I guess, for a number of uses.

On my MW 45S, the serial number is on the mouthpiece receiver. It is apparently hand stamped with small numbers. This was, also, the location of the serial number on a MW 2141 I previously owned.
