Does anyone know of a site where Bevan's book, The Tuba Family, can be purchased online?

When I ordered mine, I printed this out, actually used a pen and filled it out, used the same pen to write out a check, then put those two in an envelope, addressed the envelope, sealed it, stamped it, and mailed it.

Took less time than asking on TubeNet !!!

That is the new edition. The original only came in hard cover and had a yellow cover. It typically sells for anywhere from $100 to over $200 on eBay these days.

The Tuba Family

Go to the Amazon UK site at :-

http://www.amazon.co.uk/exec/obidos/ASI ... 43-2075007

I expect you can buy from them just the same way I buy from Amazon.com in the States. The details suggest that whilst they havn't actually got it in stock they will get it in very quickly.

:D

If you click on the '5 New and Used' button, what you'll see is that Amazon UK are not actually selling it but 5 Amazon Marketplace sellers are.
Interestingly, all 5 of these Marketplace sellers appear to be US based.
The prices that the hardbook book commands are staggering especially when I see my copy on the bookshelf behind me!
