Arkansas All-State Symphonic Band 2002-2004. Congrats to all of the All-Staters for this year and next since some are in the beginning of next year. Having Stephen Melillo as a clinician and conductor was by far the coolest thing that has ever happened to me (w/ the exception of meeting Wycliffe Gordon). I know I'm gonna step on some toes by saying this but, Stephen Melillo was way better than Robert W. Smith was. His music was much more enthralling and emotional as well as having a much harder tuba part.
