Repair shop in NC

Post by scouterbill »

I'm thinking of getting my tube overhauled. Can anybody recommend a shop I can drive to from central North Carolina that can handle a big job like this?

...Hard to tell what you mean by "big job like this", but :

You can try Mike Morse - Morse Instrument Repairs:
O:(919)624-1623
Morse Instrument Repair
34 Churchwell Court
Durham, NC 27713-9402

Mike does good clean work and he will give you an honest assessment of feasibility with your "big job". He's helped me out considerable on several "small jobs" on several different horns over the years [like resoldering braces, dent removal, fabrication of tuning slide extension & stops, rotary valve spring fab', valve alignment, dubro valve linkages]
beta 14??..........OK!

If you don't mind taking a little drive, there's always:
