O/L Grad Studies

Post by IkeH »

Is there a University offering graduate music courses online? I'm pretty well dug in playing around the Nashville area and would enjoy having some flexible-time studying that would apply toward a masters at some point. I don't have a particular major in mind, just inquiring into the possiblities.

thanks,
Ike

well if it doesn't need be music I believe that the University of Pheonix may offer some but I wouldn't swear on it. I know my dad did a large portion of his second degreee online through them.

Hi Neil-

After 25 or so years doing sitdown jobs around town, I'm on the road w/ Crystal Gayle and trad jazz group Titan Hot 7(upright bass on both). Otherwise still doing freelance work and a little private teaching around GuitarTown(mostly bass and a little tuba).

Auburn

A friend of mine is planning on getting her master's in Music Education from Auburn University. All the classes and lectures are online. There are only two or three times a semester where you have to appear on campus, and since Nashville isn't THAT far away from Auburn, AL, it might be worth checking out.

Good Luck!
