I love everything about the car except the high center console that my knee hits when I put my foot on the gas. Its the only reason I don't own one today. Its like a PT Cruiser with usable storage behind the second row of seats.

I like the last one, but haven't seen that group of options on the new lot yet.

I guess I'm in the boat of liking it, considering I drive a Scion xB. It's a box.

I think the designer (same one that did the PT Cruiser, actually) is in a rut...

Too bad they didn't put a strong motor in it, either.

talk about anti-style. Those xB's are so ugly they are sort of cool and funky. I actually like them better than the HHR and the PT. Although a PT with a 200 horsepower turbo sounds pretty cool....

Y'know, I'm not a GM kind of guy, but I like the looks of the HHR. But not the phony woody look.

While the HHR is "cute", it's mechanically pathetic just like the PT Cruiser.

It'll probably sell like hotcakes because it's cute.

Too much mass.

Too little power.

Too little styling.

Mileage will not be great either. EPA estimates are going to be too high, because people will be at half throttle all of the time to get that thing rolling.

However, this is at least a positive trend in contrast to the SUV's the big 2.5 have been pushing at us for years.
