I thought that was Alanis Morresette who sang "Isn't it Ironic".
But in this case count me in on your opinion.

LV, though I'm a transplaned Ohian, watched that Michigan / Penn St game with some real mixed emotions Saturday.

Do you root against Michigan (natural tendancy) in the hopes that a Penn St loss help OSU get back on top of the big 10?
Do you root for Penn St to win, and get a higher ranking in the BCS?

ow,ow,ow, my brain hurts

Oh, so YOU are the reason the Bucks had such a hard time!
My son wants to go to OSU and "dot the i". I must admit I had much lower ambitions at his age.

Are we talking silver or lacquer?
Seems to be an amalgam of the two -- at least I thought I heard someone talking about "slacquer" (might have been something else ... "never mind!") :P

Doesn't matter. They're ALWAYS late... (or early, or both, often in the same phrase!)

I recall working with a percussionist who said, "I hate all conductors!".

I asked him how he felt when he had to conduct a percussion ensemble.

He replied, "Doesn't matter. Then I hate myself!"
