Need lyre holder screw for Conn 10J

Post by jlbreyer »

I tried the screw from the gooseneck that came with my 26K, but it doesn't go all the way in and I don't want to force a thread that fine. I thought of taking the horn into a hardware store and try thumbscrews until I get one that fits, but I bet I'd get a few stares.

Anyone have one they will part with?
Know where I should ask?
Know the thread size?

TIA
10J and lovin' it.

I'll check my 10J tonight. If it has a lyre screw, you're welcome to it!

Just ignore the stares. That's what your friendly hardware store is for. Once you find a screw of any style that will fit you can post its size and thread number and one of us will have what you need.
