I'd would be pleased to see who is going or who would like to go to IEI.
See you there!

Ephesians 2:8
For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
2:9
Not of works, lest any man should boast.

Hello Glen! The IEI is run and directed by Mr. Adam Frey. You can go here http://www.euphonium.com/IEI2006Homepage.html and learn everything about IEI. You can go here http://www.euphonium.com/IEI2005Debrief.html and hear what the participants had to say(many of whom are members of this forum).
Thank you.

Yes, this is a wonderful opportunity for anyone wanting an indepth week of exposure to not only the instrument, but others who think like you do.
I attended the IEI last year, and it was a great experience. You are simply surrounded by everything euphonium for 7 days - and you definitely leave the institute recharged, refreshed, and ready to practice.
I highly recommend this for ANYONE - no matter the skill level. Last year we had middle schoolers all the way to Falcone winners - there is something for everyone, and it is age specific. No matter your skill level - you will learn something and be challenged. Plus, you get to meet tons of great people.
Next year the international soloist is Tormod Flaten. This guy is awesome. If you haven't picked up his CD, Flight, you should. Great sound, great technique. Very cool.
If anyone wants more info, check out euphonium.com, or you can PM me with any questions.
