What a great ad for the manufacurer, though...

As this is the "Off Topic" forum, there shoulnd't be a problem. After all, no one ever said the threads in the Off Topic forum had to stay on topic. :P

stupid

Post by TubaRay »

It took me a long time to put two and two together and get five. The topic is indicating that the driver was really stupid. I believe this shows that it is the TubeNet poster who haven't figured things out. This is 21st century America! One is never responsible for their our actions. There is very definitely lawsuit material here. The makers of the vehicle should have been able to determine the danger connected with this scenario and designed a vehicle that would stand up to such an action.

I'm still working on that B.S. degreeeeeeeeeee.

Clearly, the manufacturer should have put a warning label on the visor. Except, if the visor is anything like mine, there is no room left for any more warning labels. Hmm, I think we should sue manufacturers for putting warning labels on the visors of our cars and thus causing distracted driving accidents when we read those labels while driving. Maybe there should be a warning label warning you not to read the warning labels while driving.

well, if I had done that....but I wouldn't have done that, because I simply am not that dumb, despite the red hair that has now faded to "blonde" due to the increasing amounts of white. Not dumb enough to do it, and not dumb enough to not notice the difference in towing "weight" and not dumb enough to not notice the sparks a teensy bit sooner. And not dumb enough to figure out something was going on when 14,321 people driving by were pointing and laughing their keesters off.

However, if I had done that....I would have gone out and bought two new wheels, put two new used tires on them, and THEN if it wouldn't go I'd have had it towed to the dealer to try to figure out why the tranny was acting so weird, and let HIM figure it out. Rather than get the picture put on the internet.

Maybe it WAS the result of being towed back to the dealership by the dealer!
