Schlepporello,
years ago we performed "16 tons" in quintet. Will that be OK, too?
I´ll have a look in my files if I can still find it. In that case I´ll post the publisher.
It was a cool arrangement that featured successive solos for tuba, trumpets, and trombone.

Hey Schlepporello,
You -er- WHAT???
Combine the Big Un´ with whimper-rods
???
anyways, I found that sheet music, it´s the tuba part only.
It says "Sixteen tons" by Merle Travis, arrangement by Ingo Luis. That´s it. Sorry, no publisher mentioned.
The arrangement was cool, though. It was just about as close as you´ll get to Big Band with a quintet. It just may be the piece Chuck Jackson mentioned. Tuba takes the solo from letter A through B, trombone has the same main theme starting at letter "C" down to D. After that, tuba plays walkin´bass sort of through to the end, while trumpets play a duet that is just based on the main theme.
The crowd loved it.
