Will you offer the option for silver plated buttons? I know you could send the blank buttons to Anderson and pass the cost to the customer. Will you offer that as an option. I would take you up on that offer.

Still hoping for Lime Green :)

What size are they?

What's the outside diameter of these buttons?

And what is the stem thread and size?

Wondering if they'd be a "direct fit" or require modification of my valve stems...........

What are they made of and how much are you planning to charge for them?

I think it would be really cool to get some of these if my tuba had piston valves.

When will these be made available for regular purchase? Will you be offering them in trumpet sizes as well. I have a student who would love a set for his trumpet.

OK.... before Matt (walters) wants to kill me let me just say a couple of things about these finger buttons:

1. I have been making these myself, at home, in my own spare time (yes I have too much of it)

2. I cannot just make a set of inserts for someone finger buttons without actually having those exact finger buttons to make them in - Diamete and Depth are different from manufacturer to manufacturer.

3. The thread size on the blanks I have used is 8-32 - which will fit "modern" King, Conn (2341, 5xJ's) that I know of. I have not tries them on anything else so I do not know how they will fit other makes/models.

4. The blanks I use only come in raw brass... having them plated is a WHOLE OTHER issue if you wanted them silver/gold

5. For those of you who have asked me questions in a PM I WILL be getting back to you and your respective questions very soon.

That said ... I will gladly try to work with people who want a srt for their horn

Jay, Your first conversion (valve removal) got me curious. Then, the bell had me in awe! Now, the finger buttons just plain have me excited!!! If you could make them in silver plate, I might need some green ones for my 52J. Then, I would probably want to try the 5th valve removal, sell my 621CC and buy an F! Woah!!
