Every loyal tuba player knows music didn't get started until Hector Berlioz began writing for our instrument in the early 1830s! Sure, we'll play Mozart transcriptions for recitals. Wolfgang was a great composer and a young prodigy of a musician, but he didn't have the resources of tubas. So let's just get over it, OK?
