Requirements: The complete Vaughan Williams Tuba Concerto.

The person who won the audition didn't pass their trial period with the orchestra. The Australian audition system gives audition winners a trial period of about 6-12 months to play with the orchestra before a decision is made regarding their permanent appointment. Occasionally no appointment is made, as in this case. I don't know why this was, and in any case it would be inappropriate to discuss it here, but I will say that in my personal opinion the audition winner was a VERY fine player who would have done well in any audition anywhwere.termite wrote:Wasn't this job advertised and filled last year?
