Yes, am talking about 20 years ago. Jo-Jo came to an end when one day I left door open taking trash out and the budgie flew out after me. But there was very strong wind that day and he got blown away. Was found dead two days later on neighbours door step, presumably trying to get in :(

Yeah, they do that ...

Usually it requires them to chew off part of a limb. Too bad that. :(

The fuzzy one to the right of the photo is Taco. She is a rescued Bulldog and my 4th.

This furball is "Dandy-Lion" he is an American Ragdoll Cat.

As you can see both are very fond of tuba music..... even if one is a Sousaphone.

Biggs, I've always wondered, what is the appeal of a snake for a pet?

Snakes are noiseless, odorless, and non-allergenic.
You don't have to let them out late at night, have a big yard, or take them to a kennel when you go on vacation.
They are extremely cheap to keep: no vaccinations or registrations, no diseases to worry about, and only need a meal every few days or so.
They can be very tame (like mine) and accustomed to being handled and being around people, but won't care if you never pet them or don't have time for them today.

That said, they're obviously not the perfect pet. They don't play fetch or wag their tails when you come home and aren't good with children. But I think snakes are incredibly beautiful, fascinating animals and really enjoy having mine!

Well said. To each their own.
