As a long-time lurker who checks in daily:
Please, don't ditch the true aficionados when you toss the trolls.
The management of this site is tremendous, and under-celebrated.
I'll hoist one to you this weekend, in my pup tent by the (not-quite-swim-able) Northern Atlantic, and as soon as I get home, after a quick pee, and probably a car repair, I'll read the latest postings.
The joy and community you provide for those of us who see every band from the back is immeasurable.
Deepest Thanks.

One reason so many spambots register is that for the word "tuba," the bots can't distinguish between the name of the brass musical instrument we all play and the surgical procedure acronym for trans umbilical breast augmentation. This is not a joke. This is an actual medical acronym.

Sometimes other interests get in the way. Not always by choice.
I've followed along for a few years without posting much, but still around.
He Norm, you're crazy. Liberalism is a mental disorder
Sean, I see the old hidden group is listed in the Control Panel.
Thinking it might be fun to open it back up...
It was a lot of fun in '04.

Re: Deleting non-posters?
I went through and deleted accounts from everyone who registered before 31DEC2006, have not logged in since 31DEC2006, and had zero posts. The new BBS software has tools which made this easy.
For people with zero count posters who don't log in, that would leave just the accounts registered in 2007-present.
I might just use the general policy that if you register and never post and don't login for 1 year than I will remove the account.
