Gee guys, the response I
expected was "how would you know?"

WELL???
Obviously couldn't tell the elephants 'cause they had
no trunks !
Instead of talking to your plants, if you yelled at them would they still grow, but only to be troubled and insecure?

I guess the hot tub must've been empty. There's nothing a tuba player enjoys better than a
legal opportunity to take it all off.

Some of us would get arrested regardless.
Or murdered and the body disposed by those in the vicinity who are committed to neighborhood beautification.

Are you absolutely certain there is no cure? I can think of one fairly radical one, myself. I am not ready to undergo such a procedure myself, however.

Remembering the encounter in 1986, Peter could not help wondering if this was the same elephant. Peter summoned up his courage, climbed over the railing, and made his way into the enclosure. He walked right up to the elephant and stared back in wonder. The elephant trumpeted again, wrapped its trunk around one of Peter legs and slammed him against the railing, killing him instantly.
Probably wasn't the same elephant.
I checked this with Snopes. Turns out it
was the same elephant, just that the elephant was a son-of-a-b****, and did it for laughs...

I have been asking for a $6 pair of black corduroy slippers.
I've been told that I won't be getting them.
If it is like other birthdays, I might be getting some new vacuum cleaner bags and some uncomfortable non-black socks.
She's going somewhere in the morning, so I guess I'll have not-quite-spoiled milk on uncooked oatmeal and a low-cal yogurt for my birthday breakfast.
Same lady you were singing the praises of yesterday?

Happy birthday, Joe.
I have some $6 black corduroy slippers. They are no big deal.
It could be worse. She could be bugging you to let her sing in your band.
Be patient. Instead of slippers, she could be planning a birthday surprise calculated to knock your socks off. She has hung with you long enough to deserve the benefit of your confidence.
