I never pull slides. Then again, I probably don't play in tune all that much either.

I know, I hated hearing that news (I had even met the Goose Island brewmaster here in NY a few weeks before that, and he gave the usual "my family started and has run this company since...").AHynds wrote:That's too bad about Goose Island being bought by them recently. Hopefully AB will not dumb down their production line, but as it is, I'll be taking my business elsewhere.
Not to worry, there are tons of great breweries out there still! And they're all finding places to sell here in NYC, which is awesome!

Ooooh! Erdinger. I could never get past their bock, Pikantus, to get around to tasting the Alkohol Frei. After all I'm primarily a trombonist. What can I say?sousaphone68 wrote:favourite beer for me Alkohol Frei Isotonisch,Vitaminhaltig & Kaloriendreduziert

I am fortunate to have a great job that feeds my family well, but music feeds my soul.

When I next get to the UK, I am going to try some of these: Stringers Beer! - made by a friend of mine and her husband. (BTW, she also played Bass in an '80s Liverpool rock band called The Room.)
They get very high ratings for all of their varieties - classic British Beers!
