But I never hear about how people "warm down" yet I hear it refered to as a important part of ones practice.
So how do you warm down? I'm asking, because I haven't ever had a real warm down procedure, my warmup is pretty consistant usually scales, long tones, intervals, buzzing, etc. but when it comes to warm down, about the only thing thats consistant is that the horn goes back into its case.

I can understand the logic behind one, kinda like a runner who must stretch before he runs, then again after he runs to prevent self injury, but do us musicians risk that same possibility(injury)?
