Hi-
Yes, the setup is similar to Berliner pumpen valves, but on those valves the pstons are short and fat/stubby and the slots are at the top.
This looks to be some short of hybrid perinet piston with the screws in the casings similar to Berliner valves BUT with the slots on the bottom of the pistons--most interesting....
