Post by solomon »

I´m here in NYC until the 7th of January 2013. Was sent over from Germany to work for my company as a sub here. Living in an apartment in Manhattan. My question: is there a way to rent a Tuba for a month so I ciould get a little practise do untill I´m back home? Obviously I couldn t bring my horn.

Renting a tuba is always sticky topic. I know few establishements that will rent a decent instrument, but you may look into Carroll Music or Rayburn Music. I have heard of organizations having luck procuring tubas from them.

I rarely lend my instruments and only to individuals I know and trust to return them in identical condition or do good by any damages.

I wish you the best of luck!
