Haven't you referred to those in the past as "dent bags"?

Hi-
+1---Count me in for looking for a gig bag for the cimbasso. I refer to the case as 'Case-Zilla!' The leadpipe receiver ''bend" on the horn is fixed, so a big gig bag is needed!

I got mine from the HORN GUYS in LA and it was fabricated by Glenn Chronkite for the Cervany F cimbasso.

[quote="bloke"]Again,
It's not "made for it"...and it's not "inexpensive", but anything is better than the signature model William "Refrigerator" Perry jinbaoso case.

That bag is terrible for slide contras, anyone remember the picture I posted of how mine showed up?

Disagree. Been using one for 14 years, no problems. Sold dozens, no complaints. Your mileage may vary.Bob Kolada wrote:That bag is terrible for slide contras, anyone remember the picture I posted of how mine showed up?

I don't throw my stuff either, but I kinda still wish I had it so I could throw it at the screen now.

I have to check up from where our cimbasso bag comes. I think it is originally meant for 5 valved contra bass trombones in F
