Haven't you referred to those in the past as "dent bags"? :lol:

Hi-
+1---Count me in for looking for a gig bag for the cimbasso. I refer to the case as 'Case-Zilla!' The leadpipe receiver ''bend" on the horn is fixed, so a big gig bag is needed!

I got mine from the HORN GUYS in LA and it was fabricated by Glenn Chronkite for the Cervany F cimbasso.

[quote="bloke"]Again,
It's not "made for it"...and it's not "inexpensive", but anything is better than the signature model William "Refrigerator" Perry jinbaoso case.

:) :) :)

That bag is terrible for slide contras, anyone remember the picture I posted of how mine showed up?

Disagree. Been using one for 14 years, no problems. Sold dozens, no complaints. Your mileage may vary.

Hmm, mine is great. I have used it for at least ten years. Works perfect :) Would be nice to be able to buy the cimbasso interior separately as a complement to the case :wink:

I don't throw my stuff either, but I kinda still wish I had it so I could throw it at the screen now. :mrgreen:

I have to check up from where our cimbasso bag comes. I think it is originally meant for 5 valved contra bass trombones in F :)

Hi-
Got my Cronkite today-fits the cimbasso and the modified K&M bass clarinet stand-now cimbasso stand-it 'a a bit tight but a nice bag---and works and sooo much nicer than the hard case, ie 'Case-Zilla'....
