I just bought a used mouthpiece, and after I cleaned it, there is still some sort of hard deposit that remains on the bottom of the cup. I'm really not sure what it is, but it appears to be something on the mouthpiece.
What could I use to remove this from the mouthpiece, that would also be safe for the silver plating?

Particularly on Mother's Day, then, be sure and leave some sitting out on the counter...certainly NOT in the carport/garage, deck/porch, or storage shed.
With our dumb cats, outside is not an option! They would probably like the taste.
