Suggested CDs
I was wondering what people suggest as far as tuba CDs go. All I have is daniel in the lions den. What are some up-tempo tuba recordings that a high school student would enjoy? Also, any suggestions on where to purchase them?

Re: Suggested CDs
I wish that I had had these play along pieces when I was in HS (but I was born before CDs were invented).mTaUrBkA wrote: . . . . What are some up-tempo tuba recordings that a high school student would enjoy? Also, any suggestions on where to purchase them?

about a month ago on the Gabrielli thread we had going, someone routed us to the amazon site to buy the cd.i noticed that they had these used through some kind of network through amazon.i'm sure everyone knew about this but me.i found i had around 45.00 in my paypal acct from selling a mouthpiece.i bought 6 early empire brass cd's including the Gabrielli one(which ROCKS) for around 51.00 including shipping.they have been absolute ear candy.Sam Pilafian is wonderful to hear. All these guys(especially the early roster)are great examples of what brass can and should sound like.i love the internet...
